How we work

Lockouts, rekeying, deadbolts, high-security cylinders and keypad locks, in Charlotte, Concord, Huntersville, Matthews, Mint Hill, Indian Trail, Kannapolis, Gastonia and Rock Hill.

The advice we give most often is the one that costs least: rekey rather than replace, and spend the difference on the strike plate. Almost nothing defeats a deadbolt itself — the frame gives way — so long screws into the framing behind the jamb do more for a door than a better cylinder does.

We will also tell you when a problem is not a lock problem. A bolt that has become stiff is usually a door that has moved, and adjusting the strike is a far better answer than new hardware that will bind the same way.
